Nepali Congress lawmaker Arjun Narsingh KC said the House obstruction will continue unless and until the government to provide to each quake-hit family a lumpsum of two lakh rupees. Speaker Onsari Gharti asked the NC not to obstruct the Parliment at PM Oli was seeking to respond to its questions. But this request had no effect on the Congress, forcing her to postpone the meeting for an hour.  The main opposition Nepali Congress continued to obstruct the Parliament on Sunday as well, reiterating its demand that each earthquake-hit family should get a of two lakh rupees. Due to NC’s obstruction, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli could not even address the House. A similar scene had played out in the House on Friday, thanks to NC’s obstruction. The Congress has been seeking answers from the KP Sharma Oli government, accusing it of delaying relief distribution and post-quake reconstruction as well as politicking the process of collection of quake-related data.
